♫ Eat some now, save some for later ♫

Let me in is a fantasy thriller movie directed by Matt Reeves, is actually a remake of Let the Right One In based on the novel of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

Let Me In tells the story of two lonely young teens named Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and Abby (Chloe Grace Mortez). Owen is a 12-years-old boy who is being bullied at school who befriends a little vampire girl, Abby. She moved next door to him, and get closer ever since. Abby who moves from town to town with the man who appears to be her father (Richard Jenkins).  The new neighbors have a dark secret, and it has a lot to do with the strange killings that happened in the small community. There is a police detective (Elias Koteas), who is searching for clues to the brutal murders that happened.

Reeves have cast two excellent young actors, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz in the lead roles. And they’re very convincing and promising. They are young talents! Let Me In is a fine vampire film with a little bit of romance, and even less horror. There were not so many bloody scenes or intense moments in the movie. I enjoyed it although it’s a kind of horrifying, but I was touched by the love and acceptance they make.

I thought it was beautifully filmed and really romantic. An interesting contrast to all the horrific bloody scenes. I'm pretty sure that fans of horror will find something to love in this almost ideal feature.
